Social observer,

a foul mouthed comedian,

always made me laugh

A Weak

A long and hard week
made longer by the distance
in both space and thoughts

Decisions

A big decision,

now that distraction is gone,

occupies my thoughts

A Long Pause

These two long weeks away from home,

and one more left to go,

have left me with a sudden sense

the road is all I know.

The stress begins to take its toll;

my body and my mind

cry out for rest I cannot give

until I have some time

But all my time away from home

allows me to reflect,

and ponder things both big and small

I often times forget.

The only thing I haven't done,

while traveling this land,

is keep up with my poetry.

So here goes; here I am!
